George Putong

Writer, editor, producer, marketer, communications professional

Born in the United States, George spent his foundational years in the Philippines and earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism from De La Salle University – Dasmariñas. He began his career as a branding and promotions producer for the Philippines’ leading broadcaster before moving to Singapore to pursue opportunities in regional and global broadcast media.

George has over a decade of professional experience in news, creative production, video storytelling, and content marketing, working with top organizations including ABS-CBN Corporation, Mediacorp, NBCUniversal, and LinkedIn.

He is a member of the Singapore Press Club, the Asian American Journalists Association, and the Malaysian Press Institute.
