Saturday Uncut: How I use LinkedIn

Hi there! A few weeks ago I started a weekly video blog series on my YouTube channel. My goal is to use it as a platform to practice ad-libbing. As a video editor, I’m trained to edit materials and cutdown content to make it concise. But I wanted to challenge myself in how I collect my thoughts and present myself. I want to try something where I’m speaking with no edits needed.

The first fifteen episodes were formatted for me to talk about things like what I’m watching, what I’m listening to, and what’s happening in that particular week. But starting with this sixteenth episode, I’ve changed the format to something I hope will be useful to people who somehow find my little YouTube channel.

Here’s the first example where I share something that means a lot to me: How I use LinkedIn.

Let me know what you think. 🙂

Video Episode: The New Normal in Singapore

Video Episode: The New Normal in Singapore

Describing the current pandemic as stressful is an understatement.

Working from home, social distancing, hands that constantly smell like rubbing alcohol… these are the new normal.

I filmed this episode to capture what it feels like during this time (March 15, 2020 to be exact, as news about the pandemic changes quickly). I share what’s happening in Singapore from my point of view. Plus, I talk about what I’ve been doing to cope with the situation. Everything is based on my experience and it is not intended as professional advice.

Please stay safe during this time.
